Official formula calculators for state-level engineering and pharmacy entrance exams. Covers KCET Engineering, EAPCET Cutoff, KEAM Index and GUJCET ACPC.
This section covers 4 verified admission rules: KCET Engineering, published by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA); EAPCET Cutoff, published by APSCHE & TGCHE; KEAM Index, published by Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE); GUJCET ACPC, published by Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC). Each calculator page shows the governing formula, the eligibility gate, the tie-breaking order and the FAQ students actually ask.
Indian engineering, medical, agriculture and university admissions are not decided by one exam. They are decided by a merit score that each conducting authority builds out of two or three different inputs, then uses to rank every eligible applicant. A "cutoff" is simply the last score that was offered a seat in a given college and course.
These 4 rules are applied by 4 different named authorities across Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, Kerala, Gujarat, which is exactly why a score from one of them cannot be swapped for a score from another. The inputs differ too.
KEAM Index reads 4 separate subject or paper marks . KCET Engineering, EAPCET Cutoff, GUJCET ACPC read just two composite values, usually a board total and an entrance total. Fewer inputs does not mean a simpler rule. It usually means the authority has already collapsed your marks into one published total, so an error anywhere inside that total propagates straight into the final score.
Across these 4 rules the pattern is consistent: each authority names the subjects or papers that count, states how many marks each one contributes, and then sums the components. The published weightings are KCET Engineering: 50% on Class 12 / 2nd PUC Board Weightage, 50% on KCET Entrance Exam Weightage; EAPCET Cutoff: 75% on Entrance Exam Weightage, 25% on Intermediate Group Subject Weightage; GUJCET ACPC: 60% Weightage on Board PCM Theory Marks, 40% Weightage on GUJCET Marks. The total is always the sum of those components, so your score is directly comparable with the closing cutoff printed in the counselling prospectus.
Two consequences follow. First, entering a subject mark on the wrong scale (for example a subject printed out of 200 when the rule expects out of 100) silently produces a wrong score, so normalise before you type. Second, because components are weighted unequally, a high mark in one subject can be worth more than a low mark in another — which is exactly why the official tie-breaking order exists for candidates who finish level on the composite.
Conducting authorities referenced in this section: Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA); APSCHE & TGCHE; Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala; Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Gujarat. Every rule here is reproduced from that body's published admission brochure for 2025-2026.
The structural differences between these 4 rules in one table: how many values you must enter, the maximum score, and which body publishes the rule.
| Calculator | State | Max score | Inputs | Conducting body |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| KCET Engineering B.Tech / B.E. Engineering Admissions | Karnataka | 100 % / 100 | 2 | Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) |
| EAPCET Cutoff B.Tech / B.E. / B.Pharmacy / Agriculture | Andhra Pradesh & Telangana | 100 / 100 | 2 | APSCHE & TGCHE |
| KEAM Index B.Tech / B.E. Engineering Admissions in Kerala | Kerala | 600 / 600 | 4 | Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala |
| GUJCET ACPC Degree Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech) & Pharmacy | Gujarat | 100 Merit Marks / 100 | 2 | Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Gujarat |
Inputs range from 2 to 4 values per calculation. Every calculator runs entirely in your browser and stores nothing.

Calculates the official 50:50 composite merit score for Karnataka Engineering admissions by combining 2nd PUC / 12th Board PCM marks (50% weightage) and KCET entrance exam PCM marks (50% weightage).
Calculates the official 75:25 composite score for AP & TS EAPCET combining 75% weightage for EAPCET entrance exam score (out of 160) and 25% weightage for Class 12 / Intermediate Group subjects.
Calculates the official 50:50 KEAM engineering rank index mark out of 600, combining the 600-mark entrance paper scaled to 300 with the Class 12 board component scaled to 300 in the mandatory 5:3:2 ratio (Mathematics 150, Physics 90, Chemistry 60).
Calculates the ACPC Gujarat Engineering merit score out of 100: 60% weightage to Class 12 Board PCM theory marks and 40% weightage to the GUJCET entrance score.
Calculates the official 50:50 composite merit score for Karnataka Engineering admissions by combining 2nd PUC / 12th Board PCM marks (50% weightage) and KCET entrance exam PCM marks (50% weightage).
Combined Score = ((Board PCM / 300) * 50) + ((KCET PCM / 180) * 50)
Calculates the official 75:25 composite score for AP & TS EAPCET combining 75% weightage for EAPCET entrance exam score (out of 160) and 25% weightage for Class 12 / Intermediate Group subjects.
Composite = ((EAPCET Score / 160) * 75) + ((Inter Group % / 100) * 25)
KEAM Index = Entrance Scaled (300) + Board Scaled (300), where Board Scaled = Maths (150) + Physics (90) + Chemistry (60)
Calculates the ACPC Gujarat Engineering merit score out of 100: 60% weightage to Class 12 Board PCM theory marks and 40% weightage to the GUJCET entrance score.
Merit Marks = ((Board PCM Theory / 300) * 60) + ((GUJCET PCM / 120) * 40)
