Every admission in Karnataka is ranked by a Karnataka authority using a published formula. This page collects the one verified rule we currently publish for Karnataka, so you can calculate your Karnataka merit score exactly as Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) does.
Karnataka conducts its own engineering, medical, agriculture and university admissions through its own authorities. A Karnataka candidate is ranked inside Karnataka counselling on a merit score built from Karnataka Class 12 board marks and, where applicable, the Karnataka entrance examination. Those scores are not transferable to another state's counselling.
Everything you need to know about this rule before you enter your marks.
